Music, style, design, art...all with ear and eye to the dancefloor.
David Bruno is a product of the the downtown dance music scene. He is resident DJ and host of the regular People Don't Dance No More party (with Robot Blair of Music-for-Robots) at various venues in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, which has featured national and international DJs ranging from the Rapture, Escort, & Berlin's DJ Kaos, to members of the Parisian DJ crews of Ed Banger Records and the Institubes record label. In addition to DJing, David runs the dance music blog "Slap You in Public" and is the sole dance music correspondent for the esteemed indie website "Brooklyn Vegan." As part of his work for Brooklyn Vegan, David has interviewed Bjork, Hot Chip, and Tony Wilson (the late founder of Factory Records). An enthusiast of all forms of musical expression, he is consistently a supporter of New York-based musicians and producers. Things are only getting dancier...
